Stuart A. Staples With His Second Solo Album..."Leaving Songs".

Stuart Staples is gonna pull out his new solo album: "Leaving Songs", on May 29th. It's been recorded in Nashville with Mark Nevers from Lambchop, and it's going to feature guest appearances from Lhasa "Sometimes it Hurts" de Sela and Maria McKee.
So, while it looked like the Songs for the Young at Heart album was going to come out first, Stuart's second solo effort seems to have beaten it to the punch. Based on the new songs that have been played at the recent concerts, we can expect a tinderstickish sound, circa Tindersticks II/Curtains. Stuart is gonna preform at the Primavera Sound festival (Barcelona, Spain) in June this year. for more info scroll down the bottom of the page.
